Sizing information

All of our items are vintage from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s & Early Y2K, so therefore each item is individually listed.

When purchasing a vintage ski suit we strongly recommend you stick to your usual clothing size.
All of our suits are sized to allow for adequate base layering (please do not size up to allow for this).
For example purchasing a suit that is 2 sizes up from your usual clothing size is not recommended.
An ill fitting suit could be very problematic on the slopes.

Due to clothing dramatically changing sizes over the years, we remeasure & resize all of our suits to keep up with the current sizings.

The height of each suit will differ & our recommended ‘best fit’ height is stated on each listing.
It is important to get if not your stated height, as close to your height as possible for the best fit.
To make it easier for you to search for the perfect suit we have narrowed the heights down for you –

WOMEN’S

Petite Length – from 5ft 3” & under

Short Length – between 5ft 4 – 5ft 5” (please use the search bar tool for this option)

Regular Length – between 5ft 5 – 5ft 8”

Tall Length – from 5ft 8/9” & over

(for example if you’re 5ft 8” then you could select both Regular & Tall length suits).

MEN’S

Short Length – from 5ft 7” & under (please use the search bar tool for this option)

Regular Length – between 5ft 8” – 6ft

Tall Length – from 6ft & over

Please note our model’s have to show the full range of sizes & therefore please take note of the stated size/height of the suit & not just how it looks on the model.
You may look & think that the suit fits the model ok, however, this does not always mean that the suit would be suitable to ski in. A ski suit has to allow enough room for movement/bending & therefore it important you select the correct size.
If you purchase a ski suit & when trying it on it feels too small on your torso & you feel like there isn’t much room to bend over then you have purchased the incorrect size suit.
An incorrect size suit is not recommended to ski in.

Garment Care

All of our items will need laundering, apart from our eco stance, it is always recommended that you wash any vintage item that you purchase from anyone as vintage items are stored differently to a new items (new items are usually always individually wrapped in plastic).

Many vintage items do not have a washing/care label inside.

We recommend to wash your suit on a 30 degree wash unless stated otherwise on the items listing (this also applies to any other items on our website, ie tracksuits/salopettes).
Please do not tumble dry or iron your suit.
If your suit is dry clean only, this will be stated on the listing.
We recommend you hang dry or dry flat, for best results hang to dry in a warm room.

Please also note-
All of our items are checked thoroughly & some of our items we sell do show visible minor marks/wear markings or they may need very minor repairs, if so this will be stated on the listing.

Some suits do not have their original belts & therefore we use our stock belts, on listings that we have used our stock belt this will be mentioned on the listing.
